Job Description

We are looking for our next Data Scientists.  We have a couple of open positions for Lead and Senior Data Scientists. As Data Scientists, we spend the majority of our time on getting data into proper shape, performing statistical analyses, developing predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve clients’ business problems. We evaluate different sources of data, discover patterns hidden within raw data, create insightful variables, and develop competing models with different machine learning algorithms. We validate and cross validate our recommendations to make sure our recommendations will perform well over time. The role will also include significant consulting / client facing work comprised of:

  • Working with practice leaders and clients to understand clients’ business problem, industry context, data sources, potential risk and constraints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver data-driven solutions that support key business initiatives
  • Design and implement, and optimize advanced models using Python, SQL and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Apply mathematical optimization techniques to address real-world healthcare challenges;experience with Gurobi is a strong plus
  • Build and manage scalable data pipelines and orchestrate workflows using tools such as Airflow and Dataproc
  • Effectively communicate analytical findings and technical methodologies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-4 years (Senior Data Scientist level) or 5-7 years (Lead Data Scientist level) of experience in data science or advanced analytics roles.
  • Proficient in Python, SQL, and cloud-based environments (GCP preferred).
  • Proven experience in mathematical optimization; hands-on use of Gurobi is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dataproc.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to rapidly integrate into and contribute to complex projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
