Airbus Skywise is looking for an Integration Manager to join our team based in Atlanta, GA. You will be part of a team supporting and developing our customers, identifying their needs, and finding new ways to innovate through our digital services platform.
Meet the team:
The Skywise Team powers a purpose-built industry data platform, aimed to address Aircraft Operations Challenges. Our team combines in-flight, engineering and operational data in an analytic rich environment to provide airlines with meaningful information.

The Airbus Digital Alliance is a partnership founded in 2019 with Delta Air Lines to develop predictive maintenance programs and additional performance solutions for mixed fleet operations. Find them in the historic Ponce City Market area.

Your challenges:
As the Integration Manager you are a key factor with the development and integration of predictive models for commercial aircraft.
You manage the backlog of all US integration activities to bring value to the Digital Alliance. The Airbus Digital Alliance for Aviation, a collaboration powered by the Skywise platform, aims to improve airline operations through digital solutions.
You guide our partners as you help them develop digital products to transform airline operations. Through technical coaching, you will build products for our airline customers to improve their operational efficiency and implement predictive maintenance solutions.
You will provide the tools, resources, and coaching to the engineering teams as part of the Digital Alliance and support our external partner network to accelerate development of digital solutions.
You will also interface with commercial teams, ie. Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success and more in order to design and develop standardized analytics with a focus on performance improvement and process excellence.
Accountable for:
Manage the backlog for integration and development, ensuring it is aligned with business goals and objectives.
Guide our partners in building computer models that successfully predict impending failures in aircraft parts and subsystems.
Be the technical coach helping our partners build better models, showing how to use the tools to reduce development time and rework within our predictive model framework.
Evaluate the performance of models against real world faults and failures. Balance the needs of precision and recall to produce the best results for multiple customers.
Drive continuous improvement within the model development process to improve quality, monitor performance, and increase the speed we deliver results to customers.
Operational guidance of a multi-functional team composed of data science professionals.
Deliverables:
Certify models through the Quality Gate process and deploy them to the production environment. You are accountable for the predictive models performance assessment and documentation.
Develop and maintain the Digital Alliance roadmap. Prevent duplication of efforts for technical and functional features by maintaining clear allocations for each partner.
Report on performance of integration team efforts to management.
Show improvement in delivery time from feasibility study to deployment in production.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Required Skills and Experience:
5 years experience of Aerospace engineering processes and architecture. Airbus aircraft systems architecture is a must. Other fleet (Boeing, Embraer) architecture would be a plus.
Leadership and project management experience leading a team.
Experience in software development roles such as Product Owner or related technical roles.
Preferred Skills and/or Experience:
Assertive project and stakeholder management
Experience with Palantir big data platform.
Work in Python, data science and Machine Learning
Licenses/Certifications:
Project Management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, SAFe Agile, etc. preferred
Travel Required: up to 20%

- Vision: Daily able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering
- Hearing: Daily able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms.

- Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): Daily able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts.
- Carrying: Daily able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
- Lifting: Daily able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
- Pushing / Pulling: Rarely able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools.
- Sitting: Daily able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer.
- Squatting / Kneeling: Rarely able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.
- Standing: Daily able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor.
- Travel: Rarely able to travel independently and at short notice.
- Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): Daily able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.
