As a Health Data Analyst, you will support quality improvement efforts at the local, state, and national levels, specifically in hospitals, nursing homes, and provider offices.
You must live in Colorado, Idaho, or Iowa.
This is a part-time role (about 20 hours/week) and the approximate hourly rate for Colorado is $50.48 – $60.10.

Essential Functions

  • You will be the analytic lead for at least one of those specific healthcare settings (e.g., nursing home, hospital, clinician office).
  • You will be expected to independently develop and implement processes to retrieve, validate, analyze, report, and visualize data.
  • You will be responsible for translating data findings and reports to program team and, at times, to external clients.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in mathematics, statistics, public health, computer science, and/or equivalent training and/or experience.
  • 7+ years experience in related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in analysis of large health related data, such as claims and mastery of analytic software and other relevant technologies.
  • 2+ years in client/customer-facing role that includes managing client expectations and coordinating internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • 3+ years experience leading and mentoring professional staff.
  • Databricks, R and/or Python coding experience
  • Higher level experience/expertise using CMS Medicare/Medicaid data or clinical (e.g., electronic medical record) data.
  • Demonstrated experience in serving as a lead for one or more healthcare setting (nursing home, hospital, clinician office).

  • Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • AWS QuickSight or other business intelligence software (Tableau, Power BI) experience.
  • Experience with provider-reported data; experience with Medicare Advantage.
