Biostatistician Senior

As a Biostatistician Senior, you will support quality improvement efforts at the local, state, and national levels, specifically in hospitals, nursing homes, and provider offices.
You must live in Colorado, Idaho, or Iowa.
Approximate salary for Colorado: $110,000 - $125,000

Essential Functions

• You will integrate provider-reported data and/or EHR data with government data (e.g., claims, nursing home assessment data).
• You will be expected to have knowledge of relevant data sets and health care settings.
• You will independently develop and implement processes to retrieve, validate, analyze, report, and visualize data.
• You will be responsible for designing optimal methodologies for statistical analyses, including sampling, validation and reliability, modeling, and pattern analysis.

Requirements

• Masters degree in mathematics or statistics or related field and/or equivalent experience and/or training.
• 3+ years experience performing statistical analysis or research.
• 2+ years experience performing in a leadership role.
• Databricks, R and/or Python coding experience.
• Experience designing, reviewing, or interpreting visualizations using AWS QuickSight or other business intelligence software (Tableau, Power BI) 
• Higher level experience/expertise using CMS Medicare/Medicaid data or clinical (e.g., electronic medical record) data.
• Translational skills to support data understanding at all levels of the program.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Development of Interactive dashboards.
• Experience with provider-reported data.
• Experience with Medicare Advantage.
