Role: Data Engineer.

Location: Lisbon, Hybrid.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or similar areas;
• Min. 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer;
• Proven experience in data engineering roles, particularly in cloud-based environments
• Proficient in PySpark and SQL (building/optimizing data pipelines);
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics;
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques and data warehouse architectures;
• Comfortable integrating data from various sources via APIs;
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, preferably within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem;
• Ability to design and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective data solutions;
• Understanding of ITIL frameworks, particularly incident, change, and problem management;
• Awareness of data security, privacy, and quality standards;
• Capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications;
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement;
• Analytic professional, with critical thinking;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
