• Þátttaka í þróun og rekstri gagnavöruhúsalausna 

• Hönnun og þróun gagnaumhverfis 

• Vinnsla og meðhöndlun gagna úr ólíkum kerfum 

Hæfniskröfur 

• Færni í mannlegum samskiptum  

• Frumkvæði og sjálfstæð vinnubrögð 

• Háskólapróf og/ eða reynsla sem nýtist í starfi     

• Góð þekking og hæfni í gagnagrunnsforritun (SQL) 

• Reynsla af Databricks og Azure Data Factory er kostur 

• Þekking á Python er kostur

We are looking for an ambitious Data Engineer to join our talented and growing Global IT Data team at Embla Medical, the parent company of Össur. The Data Engineer will be involved in developing and building access to data that supports informed and data-driven decision-making across the organization. 

Responsibilities 

• Participation in development and operations of data warehouse solutions 

• Design and development of a data platform 

• Processing and handling data from different systems 

Qualifications 

• Interpersonal and teamwork skills 

• Initiative and independent working methods 

• University degree or experience that is applicable to the job   

• Good knowledge and experience in database programming (SQL) 

• Experience of using Databricks and Azure Data Factory is a plus 

• Knowledge in Python is a plus

The position can be located in Iceland, Sweden or in Poland.
