Junior Data Analyst

Compensation:
COP 2.5M - 3.2M/month.

Location:
Hybrid (Solvo Global Murano, Calle 40 Sur, Zona 7, Medellín, Envigado, Antioquia, Colombia).

What makes you a strong candidate:

• You are proficiency in data analysis, Microsoft Excel, SQL and data visualization.
  
• You are beginner in data lake, data warehouse, NoSQL and relational databases.
  
• English - Native or fully fluent.
  

Responsibilities and more:

• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into systems to maintain high-quality, reliable data.
  
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau, supporting various departments with data-driven insights.
  
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and trends that support strategic decisions.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data requirements and solutions.
  
• Support ETL processes and data pipelines across relational and non-relational databases.
  
• Help maintain data integrity and consistency across our platforms and systems.
  
• Optimize data workflows, improve reporting accuracy, and contribute to automation efforts.
  
• Support marketing, finance, and operations teams with relevant ad hoc analysis and visualizations.
  

Requirements

• 1.5 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or similar fields.
  
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one of the following: Python or R.
  
• Understanding of NoSQL databases and experience with ETL processes.
  
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational database systems.
  
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau (Power BI or Domo is a plus).
  
• Solid knowledge of Excel for quick analysis and reporting.
  
• Awareness of data lake and data warehouse concepts.
  
• Bonus: Experience with Azure, AWS, or machine learning tools.
