Global Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking a technically skilled and business-oriented Data Analyst with strong capabilities in data science/BI to join Europ Assistance global underwriting & pricing team. The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining interactive dashboards, supporting the design of automated data pipelines, and enabling profitability monitoring through data insights. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, actuaries, and data teams to ensure high-quality, timely, and actionable analytics delivery.

Responsibilities / Tasks

1/ Dashboard Development & Data Visualization

• Design and maintain interactive dashboards for profitability monitoring using tools like Power BI
• Translate business needs into visual analytics

2/ Data Pipeline & Warehouse Support

• Work with data engineering teams to define requirements and contribute to the development of automated data pipelines using tools such as SQL, Python, R, Microsoft Fabric
• Participate in the structuring and optimization of data warehouse solutions (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift) to ensure data is well-organized, scalable, and accessible
• Collaborate with the Chief Data Officer (CDO) to define and implement the enterprise data model, ensuring consistency across business domains (actuarial, underwriting, finance, claims, etc.)
• Implement data validation rules and functional checks to monitor quality and flag anomalies
• Make sure actuarial data requirements are well integrated into pipelines and data structures

3/ Data Science & Profitability Analysis Support

• Assist actuaries in preparing datasets for modeling and analysis and provide reliable and well-structured datasets
• Run exploratory data analyses to support pricing, underwriting, insurance exposures
• Ensure consistent data governance and documentation for audit and compliance

Preferred Experience

Master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or a related field.

Skills/ Knowledge/abilities

• Minimum 5 to 10 experience years in data analysis or analytics engineering, preferably in insurance or financial services

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI

• Working knowledge of R/Python for data preparation and automation.

• Experience with data warehousing environments and pipeline automation tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Fabric

• Working knowledge of AWS Sage Maker

• Proactive and relationship building oriented, driven by curiosity and personal initiative

• You are willing to work in an international environment

• You have a very good level of English
