Data Analyst - Operational Systems

About the role: 

The primary purpose of the Data Analyst – Operational Systems is to optimise processes and create efficiency through automation and data analysis. No 2 days are the same in this role as the incumbent will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including from maintaining data integrity and visualising data into dashboards to troubleshooting issues on applications and acting as a SME on energy billing related queries. The ideal candidate will bring a genuine curiosity and a willingness to learn in this all rounder role!

Other responsibilities include: 

·    Standardise processes and procedures to improve efficiency and scalability.

·    Design and implement data models, reporting dashboards, and analytics tools to support business decision-making.

·    Ensure data integrity by maintaining master data files, conducting data cleaning, and managing data validation processes.

·    Collaborate with functional and operational teams to align data analytics with business goals and initiatives.

·    Provide insights and analysis to support operational decision-making, identifying trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.

·    Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for management and business stakeholders.

·    Act as SME for customer specific electricity flows and customer specific electricity accounting flows; liaise with Service Providers in this domain as required

·    Act as escalation point for the function of customer specific electricity flows and customer specific electricity accounting flows

About you:   

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

·         Experience working with Freshworks Suite, Dynamics D365 Suite, or similar cloud-based systems.

·         Ability to develop automation and optimization solutions using AI and emerging technologies.

·         Proven experience in data analytics, reporting, and dashboard development.

·         Commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date on ITSM and data analytics trends.

Essential: 

·         Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
