Some of the tasks you will be performing

• Collect, clean, and analyze complex datasets to generate actionable insights supporting our AI/ML-driven spend management solutions.
  
• Collaborate closely with our engineers and stakeholders to define analytical needs and shape data-driven product features.
  
• Help us to design, build, and automate robust data pipelines, ensuring data quality and reliability.
  
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to clearly communicate data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  
• Leverage SQL and analytical/programming tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, etc.) to extract, manipulate, and interpret data from a variety of sources.
  
• Apply foundational statistical knowledge and machine learning concepts to support data exploration, business analytics, and predictive modeling efforts.
  
• Participate in defining and promoting best practices for data management, data governance, and data security within the team.
  
• Work with both structured and unstructured data to enable advanced analytics and machine learning automation.
  
• Translate business questions into analytical workflows and provide recommendations that influence strategic product and business decisions.
  
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within a cross-functional, international team.

Requirements for the position

• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and managing data from various databases.
  
• Hands-on experience with data analysis tools, programming languages such as Python or R and version control like git.
  
• Practical knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Excel and similar for creating insightful reports and dashboards.
  
• Comprehensive monitoring and logging for ML models is a big part of what we do (Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana, MLflow). Experience in this area is highly relevant.
  
• Familiarity with statistics and basic machine learning concepts to interpret data and support predictive analytics.
  
• Experience in communicating complex data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
• Experience working with ETL processes, data cleaning, and data governance to ensure data quality and integrity.
  
• Ability to work with cloud data platforms and basic data engineering tasks, including data pipelines and APIs. Understanding Azure and Databricks/spark would be a plus.
  
• Comfortable working with both structured and unstructured data. Using scripting for automation is a plus.
  
• Understanding of business domains to translate data insights into actionable recommendations would be a plus.
