Business Analyst (Commercial)

What the job is …

In this role, you will be part of a small but growing team of nine international colleagues based in Denmark, Germany, Singapore and the US, who aim to empower Satair to make smarter, data-driven decisions fueled by customer and market insights—boosting our competitive edge and creating standout experiences for our customers. We work together to enable our global Commercial teams to take data-driven decisions by providing insights and analyses from data.

The position is located in Copenhagen, Denmark.

In your position as Business Analyst (Commercial) you will be required to:

• To transform internal, external data and business problems, into easy-to-understand insights and visualization to drive business and operational performance

• Provide required analytical support & insights to the global Commercial teams

• Work and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and opportunities that can be addressed through data analytics and automation

• Support the development of digital tools, automation and dashboards to support decision making, corporate presentations, etc

• Process and transform complex, high-volume data from multiple sources

• Acquire datasets and ensure data quality and availability

• Drive back-end activities internally that support overall business, solution selling & contractual sales, by ensuring that Satair’s service offering are meeting customer needs

• Support & enable the Commercial teams to take data-driven decisions in order to improve competitiveness and customer satisfaction

• Contribute to become the Centre of Excellence for all required commercial analytical requirements and drive further development & automation of the same

How you will contribute to the team

You are a motivated and proactive team player with a strong business mindset. Driven by curiosity, you enjoy solving business challenges and delivering practical solutions. With excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, you're able to simplify complex analytical and technical ideas for non-technical audiences.

Ideally, you have:

• 1 to 2 years of professional experience in Data Analytics

• MSc in Data science, Mathematics, Computer science, or a related field

• Good experience of programming languages such as Python and R.

• Fluency in English
