AI DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

We’re looking for a technically strong and AI-savvy developer to take on a hands-on, real-world assignment that blends DevOps, AI/ML, and open-source communication protocols. This assignment centers around deploying a Matrix Synapse homeserver, integrating social media bridges (via Mautrix), and building a robust AI-driven message analysis pipeline.

This role is perfect for candidates who love open-source, understand server architecture, and are excited to build cutting-edge NLP-based solutions.


Your Responsibilities:

Deploy & Configure Infrastructure:

• Launch Matrix Synapse on AWS EC2 (Free Tier).
• Use Docker/systemd for setup.
• Reverse proxy with NGINX.
• Map a custom DuckDNS domain.

Bridge Integration:

• Install and configure the Mautrix bridge (LinkedIn/Instagram).
• Sync messages between Matrix and the chosen social platform.

Build AI Capabilities:

• Use Hugging Face models for summarization, prioritization & intent detection.
• Store embeddings in vector DBs like FAISS or Pinecone.
• Build an AI pipeline that analyzes incoming messages for insights.
• Optionally fine-tune LLMs using contextual data.

Testing & Documentation:

• Document each step clearly (with screenshots/logs).
• Submit code via GitHub or similar.
• Record a walkthrough video/demo.
