We’re looking for a Data Scientist who thrives on turning data into intelligent products and actionable insights at a massive scale. You’ll own projects end‑to‑end, from ideation and experimentation through production deployment, and play a pivotal role in shaping Oversee’s next generation of data‑driven travel tools.
The position predominantly involves:
- Design and implement statistical and ML models to solve key business problems, such as dynamic pricing, personalized recommendations, and anomaly detection.
- Conduct advanced statistical analyses and controlled experiments to quantify product impact.
- Collaborating with engineering and product teams to integrate data solutions into production.
Your impact:
- Enable clients to uncover hidden savings and insights from their travel data.
- Play a key role in building data-driven products that manage billions in Air and Hotel Spend.
- Drive data innovation that shapes Oversee’s next generation of intelligent travel tools.
Requirements
You have:
- 5+ yearsof applied industry experience as a Data Scientist.
- A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Expert Python skills and fluency with the data‑science ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn, PySpark or similar).
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
- Strong SQL and hands‑on experience with large‑scale data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Proven track record in shipping and monitoring ML models in production.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings into clear insights.
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
Advantages:
- Domain experience in travel or transportation and familiarity with GDS systems (Sabre, Amadeus, Travelport).
- Hands‑on experience with AWS and modern data‑engineering tooling (Snowflake, dbt).
- Contributions to open‑source projects, conference talks, or hackathon wins.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and cross‑functional squads.
