Regulatory Systems & Data Management Specialist

We are looking for a Regulatory Systems & Data Management Specialist to join our global labeling team. You will be responsible for programming and managing SAP label templates and generation variants using WWI programming. The role works closely together with the Regulatory Teams analyzing their needs and translating it in sustainable solutions. The candidate may be responsible for other labelling data management systems and processes based on his or her expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Label Template Management: Oversee the maintenance and updates of label templates, ensuring system integrity, functionality, and global alignment. Implement new user requirements, develop comprehensive system documentation, and provide user training.

• Label Design Updates: Program and update label designs in accordance with regulatory requirements and instructions from label owners. Communicate the availability and usage of label templates and generation variants to relevant teams responsible for label creation.

• Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of template management and generation variants.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Regulatory Teams, including Product Safety, Toxicology, and Registration, to understand their needs, propose solutions, and achieve consensus among stakeholders. Manage the implementation of agreed changes.

• Documentation: Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and Technical Specifications to document data management and system usage.

• System Updates: Stay informed about the latest updates and upgrades from IT and vendors. Advise on their implementation for the business, manage update processes, and inform users of changes.

• Database Management: Manage data load tools.  Oversee the updates and programming of the Global Labeling Request database and relevant KPI tools.

Key Requirements

• BS or MS (preferred) in chemistry, life science, toxicology or information technology with a strong affinity for data management and data analysis.

• Advance knowledge of chemical regulations, especially related to EU CLP, GHS, and DOT

• Professional experience with SAP EHS and WWI programming for GLM+.

• High degree of computer literacy, minimum with all common MS Office software and particularly with Excel. Ability to utilize Business Intelligence systems to extract data and generate reports are an advantage.

• Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to present ideas, work plan and progress in a clear and concise manner.

• Persistence and motivation to overcome obstacles and challenges. Able to plant, prioritize and organize work to deliver on time and ensure delivery excellence. Attention for details is a must.

• Fluent English speaking. Other languages are an asset.
