What You'll do:

- Design, build, and optimize data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and Azure Databricks within modern medallion architectures.

- Develop scalable, cost-effective, and high-performance data solutions, ensuring cluster optimization and resource efficiency.

 - Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver clean, modular, and testable code using industry best practices such as SOLID and DRY principles.

- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies to ensure data quality and reliability.

- Work with core Azure services, including Data Factory, KeyVault, Event Hub, Service Bus, and Data Lake Store Gen2, to orchestrate and secure data workflows.

- Contribute to CI/CD processes using Infrastructure as Code and Pipelines as Code, with a DevOps-first mindset.

- Actively participate in Agile/SCRUM/Kanban ceremonies, code reviews, pair programming, and technical documentation.

What You Are:

- A skilled data engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in Python, PySpark, and the Azure Databricks ecosystem.

- Deeply knowledgeable in modern data architecture and warehousing, with a strong foundation in medallion architecture.

- Passionate about writing clean, maintainable code and applying object-oriented design principles.

- Proactive and quality-driven, with a track record of delivering robust and scalable solutions in production environments.

- Comfortable in Agile settings, with excellent collaboration and communication skills that enhance team performance.

- Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
