AI Agent Development Intern – Internal AI Playground & Agentic Systems.

Description

At Medius, our AI team acts as an internal lab focused on designing, testing, and deploying impactful AI solutions across the organization. We have developed a secure, in-house AI Playground powered by OpenAI technologies, which allows our teams to safely explore and interact with generative AI tools.

As part of our continued innovation, we are now exploring the development of autonomous AI agents to support internal teams in their daily workflows. This internship will contribute directly to the design and implementation of such an agent, while also improving the overall user experience of our internal AI Playground.

The selected candidate will work within the AI Transformation squad on

• Contribute to the design and development of an internal AI agent aligned with the principles of agentic AI (goal-oriented, multi-step reasoning, contextual memory, tool usage, etc.).
• Work closely with the AI team to define the agent’s scope, use cases, and technical architecture.
• Integrate the AI agent into our internal AI Playground (built on top of OpenAI’s API and secured for enterprise use).
• Improve the usability, performance, and features of the Playground based on user feedback.
• Conduct testing and documentation to ensure robustness and maintainability.
• Stay up to date with the latest research and best practices in AI agents and LLM-based systems.

Requirements for the position

• Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Curious and eager to learn about AI and new technologies
• Interest in innovation and improving user experiences
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Willingness to explore new ideas and stay updated with trends

Technologies & environment: Azure, Python, Typescript (nextjs), Git

Internship duration: 2 months.
