What are you responsible for?

The OpEx Data Analytics Translator plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between complex data insights and actionable business strategies. By analyzing and interpreting data, this position helps drive process improvements and operational efficiency, ultimately contributing to the organization's overall business objectives of enhancing productivity and reducing costs. The role exists to ensure that data-driven decisions are effectively communicated and implemented across various departments - including data management and maintenance.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

Bridge-Building Role in Data-Driven Business: Acting as a bridge between various departments and teams by facilitating communication and training, ensuring that all employees can benefit from a data-driven approach. Optimization of Business Processes through Data Analysis: Investigating and analyzing optimization issues within the business, and translating these issues into concrete data-related analyses and solutions. Generating Insights for Valuable Decision-Making: Translating raw data into valuable insights that support the organization in data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement, using statistical analyses, trends, and predictive models. Developing a Dashboard Standard: Designing and implementing a uniform standard for dashboards, including the tools, technologies, and design principles used. Effective Use of Data through Dashboards: Building new, interactive (PowerBI) dashboards according to established standards. Data Preparation and Integration: Cleaning, integrating, and building datasets for analysis and reporting purposes. Dashboard Management and Maintenance: Managing, maintaining, and keeping all dashboards and data models developed for Abbott Zwolle up-to-date to ensure they always provide relevant and current information. Automation of Reports: Automating reports and dashboards where possible to minimize manual processes. Training and Support: Supporting users in effectively using dashboards and reports, and providing regular training to improve employees' knowledge of data visualization tools.

What kind of knowledge and experience do you bring with you?

Bachelor's degree In a scientific or technical discipline 3 years’ work experience in a similar position or equivalent PowerBI, analytical tools like SQL and Python language skills in English & Dutch
