The Opportunity

Firefly is a new product, service, and collection of creative generative AI models coming to Adobe products that offers a new way to ideate, build, and scale content. It’s a natural, exponential extension of the technology that Adobe has created over the past 40 years! At the heart of Firefly are our commercially safe generative AI models that are trained on hundreds of millions of visual contents owned or licensed by Adobe.

We are hiring a Senior Director of Product Management to lead the Adobe AI platform, spanning Data, Inference, Training and Agentic modules. The platform includes Training, Data, Inference, and Agentic AI components. The ideal candidate is a top-notch AI/ML product management leader with experience building a world-class platform empowering applied AI/ML researchers and ML engineers to train and deliver best-in-class models.

What you’ll do

  • Own the vision and strategy of the Adobe AI Platform as a self-serve Product to accelerate Adobe’s Gen AI offerings to our customers. This leader will also help unify Adobe's strategic approach for these areas.

  • Lead product for the AI platform, Agentic frameworks (AI agents), ML frameworks, and synthetic data

  • Drive the prioritization of technical work together with engineering management and program management.

  • Work closely with our researchers, applied scientists, platform engineers, product engineers, executive customers, and various teams to deliver a self-serve platform.

  • Lead and mentor a team of high-impact product managers to bring the vision, roadmap, and execution to fruition in long-lasting ways that reflect a deep sensitivity to customer needs.

  • Influence Adobe's investment and partnership with companies such as Amazon, Google, and Microsoft.

 What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven product management leadership experience of 10+ years, including leading highly versatile and complementary teams of product managers. An engineering background is highly desired.

  • Experience with Generative AI and Cloud platform technologies. Knowledge of how Hyperscaler (AWS, GCP) compute strategies and an understanding of research scientist data and training use case cycles.

  • Knowledge of inference engineering and how services and app team use cases work in this context.

  • Understanding of Agentic business strategies, how agents are different than APIs, and their business implication. Knowledge of A2A and MCP.

  • Proven excellence in customer insight, critical thinking, and product innovation.

  • Ability to lead and influence others through technical excellence and stellar execution.

  • Ability to act quickly and conclusively, possess self-confidence, be assertive, unafraid to make decisions.

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or related technical areas is a plus, with equivalent experience considered.
