Sr. Data Scientist I (5905)

As Sr. Data Scientist I, you’ll assist in the modernization of mission-critical logistics systems through advanced analytics and AI/ML solutions. You’ll work on developing predictive models, analyzing structured and unstructured data, and supporting the integration of intelligent capabilities into enterprise platforms. What you’ll do:

• Designing and implementing machine learning models, performing data mining and analysis, and collaborating with engineering and product teams to deliver predictive analytics and decision support tools.
• Support prototyping efforts and contribute to the modernization of legacy systems.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in data science or machine learning
• Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Experience training and deploying deep learning models
• Familiarity with DevSecOps environments and Agile methodologies
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.

SALARY RANGE: $103,000 - $164,000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including: 

• The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
• The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
• Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
• This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
• Performance-based bonuses
• Company-paid training and/or certifications
• Referral bonuses
