You'll be responsible for:
• Support strategic planning and decision-making through data-driven insights.
• Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying trends and anomalies.
• Provide statistical and analytical support to various business units, including pricing, actuarial, sales, etc
• Collaborate with senior data scientists and other stakeholders on projects aimed at supporting company growth and profitability.
• Research and develop solutions to optimize workflow and achieve cost savings.
• Implement automation processes to enhance efficiency across different departments.
• Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven initiatives across the organization.
Important to your success:
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience in data analysis, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with exceptional learning agility and efficiency.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English with good communication skills.
• Knowledge with concepts like OLAP or data engineering tools such as Databricks.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with
ETL processes.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.
• Ability to leverage AI tools like ChatGPT to predict market trends and inform business strategies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus
