Job Description SummaryWe are looking for a proactive and forward-thinking leader for the position of Electrification Systems Quality Process Development & Digital Quality Leader who already has proven expertise in improving and transforming quality processes using advanced digital tools and data analytics, including AI and Machine Learning.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams across R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain to drive innovation and continuous improvement. You will own the digital quality roadmap, lead change management initiatives, and guide the quality team to adapt to evolving business needs while aligning with company goals.

You will combine strong quality management experience with demonstrated expertise in scientific data analytics beyond standard tools, leading initiatives that integrate digital technologies into quality processes for better insights, efficiency, and results.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of quality processes at the Electrification Systems level, including Non-Conformance (NC) management, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and supplier quality processes.
  • Drive the adoption of advanced data analytics, AI, and Machine Learning techniques to enhance quality monitoring, predictive analytics, and process optimization.
  • Develop and implement the digital quality roadmap, ensuring integration with evolving business needs and technology trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Test Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless execution of New Product Introduction (NPI) and Life Cycle Support (LCS) projects.
  • Lead change management and continuous improvement initiatives, using lean principles and data-driven insights to close performance gaps.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to the HQ Quality team and broader Electrification leadership.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify best practices, leverage industry trends, and enhance Grid Solutions’ competitive quality position.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution, with hands-on experience in data engineering and analytics.
  • Demonstrated expertise in scientific data analytics beyond standard Microsoft 360 tools, with advanced capabilities to drive AI, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics initiatives in quality.
  • Proven expertise in improving and transforming quality processes using advanced digital tools and data analytics, including AI and Machine Learning.
  • Extensive leadership experience in quality management within projects, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
  • Proven expertise in quality process development and leadership, including Non-Conformance (NC) management, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and supplier quality processes.
  • Experience with advanced data analytics platforms and tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of digital transformation frameworks and change management methodologies such as SAFe.
  • Experience in developing and executing digital quality strategies, including ownership of digital quality roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Deep understanding of lean methodologies and Built-In Quality principles with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Familiarity with quality standards and certifications relevant to manufacturing and industrial environments.
  • Exposure to global supply chain quality challenges and supplier development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
