Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and streamline CI/CD pipelines for applications hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) utilizing GitHub.
• Perform detailed analysis of current deployments and infrastructure to ensure alignment with performance and cost-efficiency goals.
• Evaluate current usage of GCP services to identify under-utilized or over-provisioned resources.
• Enable and configure right-sized resources that best meet project requirements.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives, including rightsizing, auto-scaling, and shutdown of unused resources.
• Serve as a check-gate DevOps owner, ensuring all deployments and changes pass through DevOps reviews and best practices.
• Collaborate with development and architecture teams to define and implement DevOps strategies.
• Maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using GCP-native tools or third-party solutions.
• Create and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance policies are implemented in all deployments.
• Continuously work to improve automation, observability, and deployment reliability.
