Candidate profile

HTH is seeking to appoint a Lecturer with a background in Statistics and Research. For this appointment, we would welcome applications from high quality candidates within any area of data analytics, qualitative research, quantitative research and design based research.

You have/are:

  • Advanced statistical skills and Design based research skills
  • Excellent theoretical knowledge of both Quantitative as well as Qualitative research methods.
  • Expert Data analytics skills and use of Data Analytic tools
  • Advanced level of use of digital tools and affinity with AI digital trends
  • Advanced level of use of SPSS and Excell software.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and the ability to interpret data sets are crucial for identifying patterns and trends.
  • A proactive attitude to problem solving;
  • An excellent command of the English language (C1 level);
  • Excellent social skills, and ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team;
  • Excellent coaching skills;
  • Alignment to the vision, mission and strategy of Hotelschool The Hague;
  • An inspiring team player for all Hotelschool The Hague students and faculty.

Remuneration

Hotelschool The Hague offers a salary based on scale 11 the labour agreement of Universities of Applied Science (CAO HBO) with a range between € 4.535,76 and 6.359,47 gross per month, depending on your professional experience and qualifications.

In addition, Hotelschool The Hague offers:

Additional information

Hotelschool The Hague works with a 40-hour workweek. The starting date for this position is as soon as possible depending on the notice period of the applicant.

The work location for this position can be either our Campus in Amsterdam and/ or Campus The Hague.

Additional information can be provided by the BMT or current DAR lecturers.

An English language proficiency test may be part of the selection procedure. Upon receiving an offer, a certificate of conduct (VOG) is required.
