AI Development Intern – Vibe Coding Exploration & Prototyping

Description
The Medius AI team acts as a creative lab for generative AI exploration. Among our newest research directions is vibe coding — an emerging approach where user intent, aesthetics, and mood inform the design and behavior of AI systems. It blends natural language, code, and creative input to build intuitive and expressive experiences.

This internship offers a hybrid experience: an initial research and benchmarking phase, followed by the design and delivery of a practical system built using vibe coding principles.

The selected candidate will work within the AI Transformation squad on

• Conduct an in-depth exploration of vibe coding.
• Research existing tools, frameworks, and use cases.
• Benchmark implementations, identify best practices, and assess their potential.
• Summarize findings and present actionable insights and recommendations to the team.
• Collaborate with the AI team to define the subject and scope of a concrete application to build using vibe coding.
• Design and implement a functional prototype or system that leverages vibe coding methodologies (e.g., prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, intuitive UX).
• Test, iterate, and refine the solution based on feedback.
• Deliver a documented and demo-ready version of the system, along with key learnings from the development process.
• Contribute to our internal knowledge base with best practices and lessons learned.

Requirements for the position

• Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Curious and eager to learn about AI and new technologies.
• Interest in innovation and improving user experiences.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Willingness to explore new ideas and stay updated with trends.

Technologies & environment: Azure, Python, Typescript (nextjs), Git.

Internship duration: 2 months.

Start date: July 1st, 2025.
