This is an exciting opportunity for someone with up to two years of experience in Quantexa or a similar data engineering platform who is eager to learn, support key projects, and build hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 

As a Junior Quantexa Data Engineer, you will support the design, development, and improvement of our Quantexa Decision Intelligence Platform, helping to enhance compliance and investigative processes across the organization.

You’ll work alongside experienced data engineers and cross-functional teams to:

  • Implement and fine-tune platform features like scores, scorecards, and task lists

  • Assist in reducing false positives and improving the accuracy of compliance alerts

  • Support the rollout of new scoring models and decision logic

  • Collaborate with Compliance and IT stakeholders to ensure the platform meets business needs

  • Contribute to documentation, testing, and troubleshooting efforts

Key responsibilities

 

  • Assist in configuring and maintaining the Quantexa Decision Intelligence Platform

  • Help identify areas for platform improvement and contribute to implementing changes

  • Work closely with Compliance teams to understand alert processes and requirements

  • Support testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of data pipelines and scoring logic

  • Collaborate with the Digital & IT team to ensure system stability and performance

  • Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audience

 

Requirements

  • Up to 2 years of experience working with the Quantexa platform or a similar data engineering environment

  • Quantexa Certified Data Engineer (or actively pursuing certification)

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

  • Proficiency in Python is a plus

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

 

How we'll reward you

 

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £48,000 – £50,000 per annum dependent on experience and a car allowance of £7,611 per annum. We’ll also provide you with a comprehensive benefits package that’s flexible to suit you and your lifestyle including a discretionary 20% bonus scheme and money to spend on a range of flexible benefits from share schemes to discounted gym memberships.
