Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality analytics solutions on time, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.

Support the development of innovative propositions to address complex client challenges.

Collaborate with investigation teams to assist in fraud detection and forensic engagements.

Analyze large datasets to identify anomalies, trends, and potential fraud indicators.

Build strong client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.

Manage end-to-end project execution as part of a dynamic team.

Participate in client meetings, calls, and presentations.

Be flexible with working hours and willing to support projects in India and internationally.

Travel as needed (domestic and international) for short or long-term assignments.

Technical Skills Required:

Core:

Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Query Optimization, Database Design)

Microsoft Azure (ADF Pipelines, Azure Databricks)

Data Visualization (Power BI or Tableau – mandatory)

Preferred:

Python (for advanced analytics/automation)

Power Automate (for workflow automation)

Desired Competencies:

Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

Experience in fraud analytics, forensic investigations, or risk management is a plus.

With a strong background in data analytics, fraud detection, and forensic investigations, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to EY’s Assurance & FIS team. My experience aligns closely with the technical and analytical demands of this role:

? Expertise in SQL & Azure Data Solutions – Proven experience in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization) and Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines for ETL processes, ensuring efficient data handling and fraud pattern detection.

? Advanced Data Visualization – Skilled in Power BI & Tableau, transforming complex datasets into actionable fraud risk dashboards for stakeholders.

? Python & Automation – Proficient in Python for predictive analytics (e.g., anomaly detection, clustering) and Power Automate for streamlining fraud alert workflows.

? Fraud & Risk Analytics Experience – Hands-on work in procurement-to-pay, order-to-cash, and financial fraud monitoring, helping clients identify irregularities and mitigate risks.

? Client-Focused Problem-Solving – Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, present insights clearly, and adapt to global project demands.

? Flexibility & Global Mindset – Willing to travel and work across time zones, ensuring seamless support for India and international engagements.

 

 

 

Experience

 

People with 3+ years of experience with ability to work in a collaborative way to provide services across multiple client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements. You will need a practical approach to solving issues and complex problems with the ability to deliver insightful and practical solutions.

Data analysis experience in a forensic role
Experience of working with financial data sets
Experience/understanding of electronic disclosure technologies and computer forensics
