To meet the challenges we face today and tomorrow, we are looking for a Master Data Governance Manager Global on a permanent contract based in Lisses.

Your tasks will be as follows :

·       Define and implement approved Master Data Governance (MDG) and data quality organization, processes, policies and procedures in collaboration with data owners, stakeholders and advisors based on agreed dimensions

·       Promote and foster a culture that encourages discipline and compliance in the use of master data

·       Act as business owner for data maintenance projects, steer across cross-functions and search for optimization opportunities

·       Coordinate between business process and system owners to arrange aligned and smooth integration

·       Arbitrate and resolve cross-functional data definition conflicts

·       Define and implement data quality rulebook and document data quality rules

·       Initiate and coordinate improvement measures together with data owners, all stakeholders and advisors

·       Create and implement metrics/ KPI dashboard to demonstrate the progress of data governance and assign RACI for achieving associated targets

·       Answer and support MD -related general questions from end users and key users

·       Pepare and update training materials regularly and train end users, key users, portfolio gatekeepers and final approvers

·       Act as tool owner for MD -related tools and monitor MDG tool performance, bugs and coordinate operational resolution with IT solutions provider

·       Support, coordinate and document testing with respective users for MD -related technical implementation

·       Evaluate requirements, approve justifications and coordinate implementation of MD -related system changes

·       Monitor workflow KPI dashboard, provide ad-hoc reports for MD objects and escalate in case of overdue

·       Ensure proper documentation and state of the art of data modelling and standards

Requirements

Education and experience required :

· Bachelor or Master Degree in a technical field or business field such as Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar

· Over 3 for the tasks years of working experience, out of which at least 1 year years working with Data Governance in a global environment

· Experience in partnering with the cross-functional stakeholders, proven ability to communicate at all management levels

· Experience training and educating wide range of users and stakeholders

· Proven experience in managing external solution providers with budget responsibility

Specific knowledge, skills and abilities required :

· Proven analytical skills, and ability to apply critical reasoning and problem solving in highly complex situations

· Good communication, coordination and negotiation skills

· Good knowledge and understanding of value chain, SCM/ IT processes and structures

· Sructured and solution-oriented approach

· IT affinity with motivation to explore technical landscapes and platforms

· Excellent delivery, presentation and coordination skills
