Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for Architecting and designing solutions for capabilities for commercial sales organization needs using Conga (Apttus) CPQ, CLM and Salesforce force.com space and related enterprise systems integrations
Must have advanced problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills. They should be able to work independently or collaboratively and maintain a positive attitude under stressful situations.
Create diagrams and documentation to communicate designs to stakeholders.
Ensure consistency between architecture and implementation. Identify dependencies between different components of the solution. Provide guidance on best practices.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify risks and opportunities.
Facilitate change in the use of best practice methods in CPQ and CLM areas, leveraging newer functionalities and features to support Product modelling and administration, drive digital validation, pricing of the products and quotes and contracts
Engage frequently with the scrum team, conduct strategy and design workshops as needed.
You will play active role in alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders: Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Service Owners and Developers.
Collaborate with other Architects and designers/Developers to ensure that solution design has been fully considered for functional, integration, capacity, performance, infrastructure and support implications
Enforce common architecture standards & processes to establish metrics and delivery consistent with product & business outcomes and code reuse principles
Engage and conduct design reviews to provide recommendations and incorporate technical, security, scalability, performance and content/documentation considerations
Collaborate with UX, compliance, security and risk strategy teams to proactively drive architecture and on-going application evolution, ensuring maintenance of current stability, reliability, performance and ensure alignment with company-wide strategy.
Gather and analyze data and develops architectural requirements at project level.
Qualifications/Requirements:
12+ years of IT Experience in solution architecture and application system design on CPQ/CLM and SFDC (Good Knowledge of CPQ/CLM capabilities) at an industrial company that shows a progression towards technical and business expertise
6-8 years of Strong Experience in Designing and building custom functionalities and bolt on capabilities on Conga (Apttus) CPQ/CLM and SFDC eco system.
Hands on experience as a software developer Experience with thorough understanding of advanced SFDC coding standards, Salesforce Apex, Visual Force, LWC and comfortable with both Conga (Apttus) CPQ/SFDC configuration & Customizations
Experience with data migration tools like Apex Data Loader, X -Author, Excel Connector to Import and Export the data to the Salesforce.com platform
In-depth understanding and experience in building integrations from Salesforce to Oracle ERP and Service CRM systems and knowledge of various interfacing technologies and architecture (micro services, SOA/Informatica etc.).
Awareness and experience in AI & ML capabilities. Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to apply technology solutions to solve business problems
Education – bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent
Desired Characteristics:
Experience working with remote teams and across time zones.
Experience in delivery and implementation of solutions within established standards and documentation guidelines.
Experience with c#, python, Java, Java applications,
Familiarity working in Agile/Iterative development environment
Knowledge of Performance Testing principles, processes and procedures
Ability to work in a highly matrixed, global organization and be able to drive value through building relationships at all levels of the various businesses.
Experience of leading teams using Agile delivery framework
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms
Contributes to creative solutions and challenges the status quo
Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
Proactively learns new tools and identifies opportunities for improvement and promotes their adoption
