Our team

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated apprentice to join our team and work on developing an AI-powered support chatbot or chat participant. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning while contributing to a real-world project.

 

Our organization currently faces challenges with numerous documentation channels, making it difficult to find reliable information quickly. There is a strong desire to access this information directly from the developer environment, such as VS Code, to streamline the support process and enhance productivity.

Your mission

The support chatbot will leverage a comprehensive dataset derived from support tickets and documentation to provide accurate and timely resolutions to user queries. The apprentice will be responsible for curating this dataset, implementing multimodal indexing, and developing the chatbot using advanced AI models.

 

Key Objectives:

1.    Develop an AI-Powered Support Chatbot for internal tools: Create a chatbot or chat participant in VS Code that serves as the first line of support for internal tools-related queries using advanced AI techniques.

 

2.    Curate Comprehensive Dataset: Gather and curate data from Jira tickets, MS Teams chats, and documentation to create a dataset of queries and resolutions.

 

3.    Implement Multimodal Indexing: Expand the current indexing system to include both text and images, using either a multimodal embedding model or a text embedding model with LLM-generated descriptions.

 

4.    Enhance Information Accessibility: Address the challenge of numerous documentation channels by creating a centralized and reliable source of information accessible directly from the developer environment (IDE).

 

5.    Collaborate with Experienced Professionals: Work closely with team members and experienced professionals to develop and refine the chatbot, gaining hands-on experience in AI and machine learning.

 

6.    Ensure Accurate and Concise Responses: Integrate the curated dataset and multimodal indexing into the chatbot to provide accurate and concise responses to user queries.

Your Profile

You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or a related field, with a strong proficiency in English.
