Data Management Specialist

KBR is seeking a Data Management Specialist to support government customers in all aspects of data management and assist with configuration management duties as required.  Responsibilities include contract deliverable processing and management of activities as required. Work closely with the government customer personnel with processing the receipt, distribution, and formal government disposition for data deliverables and maintain daily interaction for the coordination of contract activity. Perform records management within KBR archives and provide input to metrics tracking database. Ensure contract deliverables are delivered in accordance with the statement of work and meet contractual data rights requirements. Prepare and maintain weekly forecasting for contractual deliverables.  Maintain contracts in the PDM system and assist users in procedures and training as necessary. Participate in weekly customer status and Integrated Product Team meetings.

Candidate will provide inputs to contract related documentation development including requirements analysis and verification.  Candidate must possess understanding of Configuration and Data Management principles and be willing to assume additional responsibilities, as required. Will serve as primary liaison between government customers, contractors, and various company departments. 

Candidate may also participate in Program Design Reviews, Production Configuration Management Audits, technical documentation reviews, Physical and Functional Configuration Audits, advise management of audit results and necessary corrective actions, capable of performing independent technical reviews, assessment of performance specification requirements and requirements flow and allocations, evaluations of engineering drawings, specifications, and associated lists, such as parts list and bill of material listings IAW Department of Defense contract requirements is preferred. 

Candidate must be skilled in interfacing with government customers, prime contractors and other government support contractors daily to define and propose resolution of documentation problems and discrepancies.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum Education:  Bachelor’s degree or 5 years equivalent work experience preferred. 

Active Secret Security Clearance preferred

10% travel may be required
