WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

• Constantly understand the main needs of R&D Latam team and how to address them with digital tools;

• Identify manual process and create the automation solution;

• Master knowledge of global tools;

• Cascade global tools to the team and ensure Latam team usage;

• Guide and train R&D team members in at least in Excel, JMP and Design of Experiments;

• Master user of process, formulation and financial data;

• Use data/tool to help the team to understand the process and formula correlations and solve problems;

• Maintenance and guidance of Latam Formula Cost (LFC);

• Develop Machine Learning and Computer Vision models aiming trials reduction;

• Conduct proof of principles for new technologies;

• Have technical skills to understand, propose, and apply digital solutions;

• Have transparence about the available tools in Unilever and application;

• Ensure right usage of IA solutions;

• Critical sense to ensure good data quality;

• Work collaboratively with team members/interfaces;

• Ensure security for data storage;

• Ensure compliance with the Unilever Code of Business Principles;

• Training (online or presential) the team on new digital tools;

• Guarantee R&D information in the right systems and back up.

Experiences & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed in Chemical or Food Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or related areas;

• Knowledge of Python for Data Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Web Scraping, Power Platform;

• Excel VBA;

• SAS JMP Advanced;

• Advanced English;

• Basic Spanish.
