Role
We are excited to share that Genmab has an open internship position based in the Discovery Data Science department based in Utrecht. The internship will focus on exploring machine learning methods on large scale data for the design and discovery of antibody targets.
You will work in a multidisciplinary, international team of experienced scientists with deep knowledge of antibody development and machine learning, with the goal of bringing new, groundbreaking antibody therapeutics to the clinic. We leverage modern protein characterization assays, advanced data analysis methods, and state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to help improve our therapeutics. Dry- and wet-lab researchers collaborate towards defining project questions, discussing methodology, designing experiments, assessing results, modelling data, and validating predictions. Projects involve computational sequence- and, structure-based protein and antibody engineering.
Genmab places a high value on new, transformational data-science approaches to enhance our drug discovery and development efforts. As an intern in the Discovery Data Science department, you will make an impact on the development of ground-breaking new medicines to serve cancer patients with unmet medical needs. In addition, as a fully integrated biotech company, Genmab will give you the chance to experience drug development from discovery to translation into the clinic.
