Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Data Analyst to join our Conversion and Underwriting Team of Home & Protection Tribe

You are a true business data analytics expert that has the ability to work closely with stakeholders across Mortgages Process. Maximizing conversion and customer satisfaction is your priority, identifying opportunities to offer our clients a simple and transparent process for obtaining their mortgage with ING.  

Your key responsibilities:

As a Data Analyst, you will proactively connect Business areas and understand their needs, their services and product functioning and the data ecosystem, and can generate accurate data driven analysis and recommendations, as…

• Support the analytical needs of the area through descriptive analysis and diagnosis, generating insights and recommendations that support better decision-making and lead to greater commercial results.
• Product analysis trends to increase sales conversion, reduce product attrition, etc.
• Support and advice business on their reporting needs and any other analytical need and communicate the main findings to various stakeholders.
• Being part of our Data Fluency Program

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, or other degree with strong analytical content.
• Full proficiency in SAS,  SQL and Excel (knowledge of other programming languages such as R or Python will be appreciated).
• At least 3-4 years of experience in a comparable role, transforming data to extract key business insights using statistical/analytical concepts.
• Your communication skills enable you to work together with many different parties throughout our organization.
• You are able to see things from a different perspective and to make original solutions work in practice. 
• Willing and able to learn and to improve your technical and your interpersonal skills.
• Customer centric.
• You have great organizational skills and a structured way of working
• Fluent English will be appreciated.

It will be valued:

• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Microstrategy and statistical modeling techniques.
• You are familiar with data visualization in Powerpoint
• You have advanced skills in creating automated reports in Excel

Tu rol y entorno de trabajo:

Estamos buscando a una persona talentosa y entusiasta para unirse a nuestro equipo de Conversion and Underwriting del Home & Protection Tribe.

Eres una persona experta en análisis de datos empresariales, capaz de trabajar estrechamente con las partes interesadas en el proceso de hipotecas. Maximizar la conversión y la satisfacción del cliente es tu prioridad, identificando oportunidades para ofrecer a nuestros clientes un proceso simple y transparente para obtener su hipoteca con ING.

Tus principales responsabilidades:

Como Data Analyst, te conectarás proactivamente con las áreas de negocio para entender sus necesidades, sus servicios y el funcionamiento de los productos y el ecosistema de datos, y podrás generar análisis precisos basados en datos y recomendaciones, tales como:

• Apoyar las necesidades analíticas del área a través de análisis descriptivos y diagnósticos, generando insights y recomendaciones que respalden una mejor toma de decisiones y conduzcan a mayores resultados comerciales.
• Analizar tendencias de productos para aumentar la conversión de ventas, reducir la deserción de productos, etc.
• Apoyar y asesorar al negocio en sus necesidades de informes y cualquier otra necesidad analítica, y comunicar los principales hallazgos a varias partes interesadas.
• Ser parte de nuestro Programa de Fluidez en Datos.

¿Qué estamos buscando?

• Título universitario en matemáticas, estadística, informática, economía u otra carrera con fuerte contenido analítico.
• Dominio completo de SAS, SQL y Excel (se valorará el conocimiento de otros lenguajes de programación como R o Python).
• Al menos 3-4 años de experiencia en un rol comparable, transformando datos para extraer insights clave para el negocio utilizando conceptos estadísticos/analíticos.
• Tus habilidades de comunicación te permiten trabajar con muchas partes diferentes en toda nuestra organización.
• Eres capaz de ver las cosas desde una perspectiva diferente y hacer que las soluciones originales funcionen en la práctica.
• Disposición y capacidad para aprender y mejorar tus habilidades técnicas e interpersonales.
• Enfoque en el cliente.
• Tienes grandes habilidades organizativas y una forma de trabajar estructurada.
• Se valorará el dominio del inglés.

Se valorará:

• Conocimiento de herramientas de informes como Microstrategy y técnicas de modelado estadístico.
• Familiaridad con la visualización de datos en PowerPoint.
• Habilidades avanzadas en la creación de informes automatizados en Excel.
