Salary Range

$85,100.00 To $120,000.00

A Brief Overview

The Analyst, Data Analyst will use existing tools and methods to perform descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive data analysis for business leaders to provide data to drive business decisions. The Analyst will work with stakeholders to define requirements and gather data to design, develop, and create data dashboards, visualization and other reporting. This position requires strong skills in creating dashboards, visualizations, reports, and the ability to solve problems and think critically.

What you will do

  • Create reports, dashboards, visualizations and other reporting metrics
  • Acquire, clean, and organize data for analysis
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine reporting requirements and needs
  • Work with business area to identify trends and patterns in reporting metrics
  • Create and analyze moderately complex reports and dashboards and identify opportunities to make improvements
  • Create presentations to provide management with data-driven recommendations
  • Develop data, business, and process rules and tests
  • Perform moderately complex ad-hoc data assignments
  • Conduct regular audits of data, reports, and other measures to ensure integrity and compliance
  • Research and suggest new metrics to aid in leveraging data to support business decisions
  • Assist the Senior Analyst with analysis of complex reports
  • Train and mentor junior employees
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned
  • Understand and comply with all provisions of the Safety in the Workplace policy

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • A combination of post-high school education, job related certification and related experience equivalent to 5 years may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements

 

Preferred Requirements

  • Quantitative degree of bachelors degree of higher, eg: Applied Mathematics, Applied Economics, Statistics, Computer Science degree
  • Experience with Generative AI experience
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, Master’s degree is a plus
  • Data Analytics certification
  • Experience implementing and managing projects
  • Understanding IT and Data principles (Data structures, modeling techniques)

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

 

  • Ability to perform descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics
  • Strong skills in creating dashboards, visualizations, and reports
  • Strong math and statistical abilities
  • Ability to problem to solve moderately complex problems and think analytically
  • Strong skills in SQL, R, Python, Java, Excel, Tableau, Power BI and other commonly used data analytics and modeling tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize work
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical users
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

 

  • Frequently remains stationary throughout a typical business day
  • Frequently operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
  • Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other rooms
  • Occasionally positions self to access drawers and shelves of various heights
  • Frequently reaches for and handles paperwork and files
  • Constantly communicates with customers, coworkers, and management in-person and on the phone
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information
  • The actual number of in-office days that may be required will vary by business unit, role, and business need
