Chapter Lead (m/f/d) "DevOps & AI Engineering for Workplace IT"

About the Job 

The Area workplace services (WPS) is responsible for design, delivery and operations of all workplace services within Allianz Group. This includes collaboration solutions, enterprise mobility services, notebooks, desktops, virtual clients, desktop file service, printers, service desk and field service.

At workplace services we are currently searching for a Chapter Lead DevOps Engineering. As a Chapter Lead you are responsible for the functional and personal leadership of the chapter assigned to you, in accordance with Allianz's working guidelines, leadership values and People Attributes. You lead the chapter as "Servant Leader" and support the chapter personnel in their personal and professional development in consultation with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and relevant managing personnel.

What you do

• Mentor and lead the international DevOps chapter in developing and implementing new technologies, focusing on AI and enabling members to grow their mastery using industry best practices.
• Take a lead role in setting up DevOps and AI best practices and standards, utilizing the latest methodologies to enhance business efficiency.
• Improve business efficiency by identifying opportunities for automation, consolidation, cross-functional collaboration, and fostering business innovation.
• Establish a portfolio of DevOps and AI processes, practices, and tools to empower and support delivery teams in continuous deployment, continuous integration, and rapid delivery across value streams.
• Manage, develop, and assure the qualification requirements of chapter members, enabling them to work in an agile setting, in accordance with Allianz People Attributes, Leadership Values, and relevant guidelines through training.
• Implement personnel-related processes such as recruiting, onboarding, and performance management, collaborating with the Product Owner and relevant HR partners.
• Identify and implement synergies between teams (Chapter & Tribes) and collaborate with Product Owners to determine future resource requirements, while observing standards and statutory occupational health and safety regulations.

What you bring

• Possess an Agile mindset with a wide variety of Agile tools and methods, along with knowledge of the structure of the group, Allianz Technology, existing process landscape, standards, relevant products, technologies, services, and organization.
• Proven experience in DevOps and Automation, including leadership roles such as squad lead, with expertise in organizational transformation and change management.
• Skilled in development, coaching, mentoring, and mediation, applying analytical thinking as well as methodological and conceptual skills.
• Demonstrate expertise in the chapter-specific field of work, living the four People Attributes: Customer & Market Excellence, Collaborative Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Trust.
• Hold a degree or equivalent professional experience, with training and/or work experience in the agile sector.
• DevOps, process, and project management training and/or certification, with experience in Workplace environments.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
