Job Title: Data Analytics Business Partner
Location: Swindon Head Office (with flexible home working)
Salary: Circa £50k
Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week (reduced hours considered)

OutsideClinic was founded in 1997 and has developed to become a leading provider of ‘at home’ eye care and hearing care. The business has revenues of £40m and employs 300 people. The business provides services to the older population group, that find it challenging to visit the high street.
Job Summary
We’re looking for a commercially astute and strategically minded Data Analytics – Business Partner to lead the development of meaningful, accessible insights across the organisation. This role will act as the primary analytical link between data and decision-makers, working with senior stakeholders to uncover opportunities, shape strategy, and help embed a culture of data-driven thinking.
You’ll need to be as comfortable engaging with the CEO & Financial Director as you are interpreting complex data sets. Your focus will be less about coding and more about applying analytical rigour to business problems and communicating findings in ways that lead to real change.

Principle Accountabilities
- Act as the senior data liaison across all departments – including Clinical, Operations, Marketing, HR, Finance, and IT – understanding their needs and providing actionable insights.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify priority areas where data can support growth, efficiency, and improved outcomes.
- Translate data into clear, business-friendly narratives, often via reports, presentations, and dashboards.
- Interpret trends, diagnose issues, and make evidence-based recommendations that support both tactical and strategic decision-making.
- Work with central data and IT teams (where applicable) to ensure data availability, quality, and reliability.
- Champion the development of a data-informed culture across the business, providing guidance, support, and training where needed.
- Lead key data-driven projects and support change initiatives, always ensuring alignment with wider organisational goals.
About you
- Proven experience in an analytical or business partnering role, ideally within a service-led or multi-functional environment.
- Strong commercial financial awareness and an ability to grasp the broader business impact of your insights.
- Excellent presentation skills – the ability to turn raw data into easily understandable actions.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills – able to work with stakeholders at all levels and explain complex findings in simple, actionable terms.
- Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI).
- Confident working with data sets to support narrative storytelling; Excellent experience with tools such as Excel & SQL
- Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day delivery.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
