Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5 years of work experience with analysis applications (extracting insights, performing statistical analysis, or solving business problems), and coding (Python, R, SQL) (or 2 years work experience with a Master's degree).
  • Experience working with multiple datasets/data warehouses and ability to pull from such data sets using relevant programs and coding.
  • Experience working with data visualization tools, Android and Play Ecosystem.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience in identifying opportunities for business improvement and defining/measuring the success of those initiatives.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the mobile ecosystem.
  • Excellent business acumen and experience with data set to construct data analysis in order to answer business questions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to deliver findings of analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Drive analysis for the Android Wear OS device ecosystem.
  • Partner with Product managers, Engineering, UX and other Android teams to provide product and strategy insights that will improve performance and help scale the product/features.
  • Work with Engineering teams who create data pipelines to ensure proper dimensions and metrics are incorporated.
  • Act as a thought partner to produce insights and metrics for various technical and business stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
