Software Engineering II, Sustainability

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  
• 1 year of experience with full-stack development, with back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with sustainability, flights, or geographic information systems.

Responsibilities

• Work with a cross-functional team on global sustainability projects.
• Work full-stack from machine learning data pipelines to user interfaces.
• Collaborate with Google Research to land contrails research as a real world product that helps airlines avoid contrails at global scale.
