QTS Data Centers is expanding its supply chain capabilities to support rapid growth. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Specialist to manage and optimize inventory operations using Oracle Fusion, Palantir, Power BI, and other analytical tools. In this role, you will oversee inventory management processes, ensuring accurate stock levels, timely reporting, and efficient order fulfillment, while leveraging Oracle and Palantir to track and report inventory movements, allocations, discrepancies, and corrections.  The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing operational efficiency and ensuring data-driven decision-making within our logistics and supply chain functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Inventory Management: 

    • Monitor, track, and maintain inventory levels across multiple warehouses. 

    • Schedule, execute, lead, and monitor regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accurate stock records. 

    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records. 

    • Utilize Oracle Fusion to update inventory transactions, correct track stock levels, and manage replenishment processes. 
       

    System Management: 

    • Operate and support the Supply Chain and Logistics team utilizing Oracle Fusion for tracking and managing inventory movements. 

    • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Oracle Fusion system. 

    • Process and monitor purchase orders, receipts, shipments, and returns using Oracle Fusion. 

    • Create, modify, and close work orders in Oracle Fusion, ensuring proper inventory allocation. 
       

    Process Optimization: 

    • Identify and recommend improvements to inventory management procedures, utilizing Oracle Fusion WMS for reporting and analysis. 

    • Collaborate with procurement, shipping, and other departments to optimize inventory flow and accuracy. 

    • Implement best practices for inventory control, using Oracle Fusion to streamline operations and enhance productivity. 
       

    Reporting & Analysis: 

    • Generate inventory reports to provide insights into stock levels, trends, and performance metrics. 

    • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory reports for senior management. 

    • Monitor stock movements and inventory turnover to identify slow-moving or obsolete stock. 
       

    Compliance & Safety: 

    • Ensure all inventory management activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. 

    • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of inventory according to safety guidelines. 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Business Analytics, related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in inventory management or a similar role, with specific experience using Oracle Fusion WMS. 
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
  • Strong data analysis skills, with experience using tools such as Excel, SQL, or equivalent software.
  • Experience with warehouse operations, stock control, and inventory auditing. 
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate insights into business recommendations.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to management and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Experience working with data visualization and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics and automation.
  • Experience with process automation tools (e.g., RPA, Power Automate) to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Knowledge of supply chain optimization strategies and industry best practices.

  • Comfortable collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
