The Tech & Alliances AI Product Manager will work closely with the ESG Solution streams and member firm senior stakeholders to uncover and evaluate new opportunities for growth. They will guide initiatives through the development framework, assessing the commercial and market viability of new opportunities, and using design thinking and product principles to shape, validate, and define high-value concepts.
They will facilitate project planning sessions, ensuring alignment with business goals, and build a deep understanding of user needs through engagement with business stakeholders. They will establish a clear ESG/ Sustainability AI vision and roadmap through collaboration across solution streams and member firms, and support the development of investment cases and funding requests.
In this role, they will manage communications and foster relationships with stakeholders at various levels of the organization, including project teams and senior leadership. They will collaborate closely with GTM and Alliances teams to drive adoption within member firms, organize training, and provide necessary documentation and support.
They will be responsible for setting and reporting key initiative metrics, and for timely escalation of risks and blockers, including concerns about market demands and product performance. They will also have the ability to call out concerns and suggest pivots in strategy when necessary.
A successful candidate for this role will have proven experience in leading complex program delivery across various technology platforms and solutions within a global or multinational business environment. They will also possess direct experience with development and commercialisation of solutions leveraging AI.
They will have extensive experience in stakeholder management, with the skill to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including executive leadership, technical teams, and member firm representatives.
The candidate will possess excellent organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep tight deadlines. They will have the ability to work autonomously, dealing with conflicting priorities and monitoring their own workload in a timely and effective manner.
Additionally, knowledge and/or working experience in an ESG or regulatory compliance role would be a nice to have for the candidate.

20% Be accountable for collaborating with the ESG Solution streams and member firm senior stakeholders to help uncover and evaluate new opportunities to drive growth.

10% Ownership of setting & reporting key initiative metrics.
20% Be accountable for managing communications and fostering relationships with stakeholders across various levels of the organisation, including project teams, and senior leadership to ensure project objectives are understood and expectations are managed.
20% Be accountable for timely escalation of risks & blockers. This includes concerns on market demands and product performance. Call out when there are concerns the strategy will not succeed and the firm needs to pivot
10% Facilitate project planning sessions to outline the objectives, scope, schedule, and resource allocation while ensuring alignment with business goals.

About the team
KPMG ESG is a global cross-sector initiative that integrates our knowledge and experience regarding global issues such as environmental, social, governance performance and sustainability; economic and social development; climate change and decarbonization; and sustainable finance.
The Tech & Alliances team falls under the Global ESG Advisory umbrella, specifically to enable KPMG solutions and member firms to win implementation projects for ESG strategy execution. The Tech & Alliances team also focuses on developing and implementing a robust alliances strategy as well as supporting the development of KPMG-built tools to meet various member firm needs for ESG engagements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in a project management role, particularly in environments that require stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven experience in leading complex program delivery across various technology platforms and solutions within a global or multinational business environment.
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management, with the skill to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including executive leadership, technical teams, and member firm representatives.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, dealing with conflicting priorities and monitoring own workload in a timely and effective manner.
- Working experience in the development of products and solutions that leverage Artificial Intelligence.
- Knowledge and/or working experience in an ESG or regulatory compliance role (nice to have)
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and an understanding how to present information at the appropriate level for a broad range of stakeholders.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, fluid consulting situations and a highly pressured environment
- Professional presentation skills with impact, highly competent in presenting ideas clearly and convincingly to influence senior stakeholders and possessing personal presence, with the ability to earn trust and respect
