Your team

You will join the Client Service team within the UBS AM Global Risk Solutions team, a highly diverse multinational group based in London, Zurich, Chicago, and Krakow. We provide application support for the proprietary Global Risk System used extensively throughout the business by portfolio managers, investment specialists, risk controllers, investment guidelines monitoring, client reporting, and regulatory oversight.

Your expertise

You have:
• A university degree in Finance, Computer Science or a related field, complemented by a flair for technology and IT.
• Good SQL development skills working on large relational databases
• Worked with data vendor terminal applications such as FactSet, Bloomberg, or Eikon.
• Some knowledge of at least one topic from market risk, liquidity risk or ESG reporting
• At least 3-5 years of work experience in a technical support role, ideally in the asset management industry or with a financial technology vendor.

• Resourceful, prepared to take ownership of tasks and be accountable for outcomes
• Independent minded, strong technically with excellent problem solving/analytical skills
• Tech-savvy and eager to harness new technologies and techniques to improve processes
• Capable of identifying and articulating risks associated with data and technology within business processes
• Fluent in English, and a great communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills
