IT AI & Automation Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced IT AI & Automation Solutions Architect to lead the strategy, execution, and governance of AI-powered solutions across the enterprise. This role requires a hands-on solutions engineer with deep expertise in AI-driven business process automation and the ability to drive enterprise-wide adoption.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of AI tools, ethical and governance frameworks, and enterprise-scale implementation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of innovation. Experience with AI governance, Steering Committee facilitation, and evaluating buy vs. build strategies is essential.

You’ll partner with Information Security to integrate AI into enterprise systems, ensuring robust infrastructure, governance, and cybersecurity protocols.

Proficiency with enterprise applications such as ERP (preferably Oracle), Salesforce, HR/Legal systems, intelligent RPA (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere), and Data Lake platforms is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is a plus, as is Azure AI.

Responsibilities

• Drive the enterprise AI strategy aligned with business goals and innovation initiatives.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the success of AI initiatives.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional AI teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Manage a portfolio of AI tools and platforms (including LLMs or SLMs).
• Facilitate Steering Committee meetings to support AI investment and strategic decisions.
• Drive automation across key business functions (ERP, CRM, HR, Legal, Operations, etc.), improving operational efficiency.
• Present AI roadmaps and outcomes to leadership, demonstrating measurable impact.
• Identify and evaluate emerging AI technologies to ensure organizational competitiveness.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with ethical standards, including validation, regression testing, and model safety.
• Select and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective AI platforms.
• Manage integration of AI with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HCM, supply chain).
• Develop deployment frameworks incorporating internal builds, vendor solutions, and hybrid approaches.
• Collaborate with functional leaders to identify and deliver high-impact AI use cases.
• Lead change management efforts to drive enterprise-wide AI adoption.
• Promote shared accountability between technology and business teams.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• 5+ years in AI, digital transformation, ERP, or enterprise tech leadership.
• Expertise in AI/ML tools, enterprise data ecosystems, and automation platforms.
• Strong understanding of current and emerging AI technologies, particularly in Generative AI, Deep Learning, NLP, and Computer Vision and Automation.
• Proven track record of building and scaling AI, data, and automation teams.
• Strong background in AI governance, risk management, and policy enforcement.
• Experience leading AI transformation projects and facilitating executive decision-making.
• Ability to align AI strategy with business objectives and translate technical concepts into actionable insights.
• Skilled in identifying and delivering measurable AI-driven business outcomes.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, regulatory compliance, and ethical practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI platforms and enterprise data architecture.
• Strategic mindset and ability to craft compelling narratives for AI value realization.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, , C#, Docker, and Kubernetes.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in Milpitas, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.  

Annual Salary Range $210,000—$250,000 USD
