We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Gift Processing Analyst to join our Advancement Services team. In this critical role, you will ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant recording of charitable contributions in alignment with CASE guidelines and IRS regulations. This position requires strong independent judgment, advanced research skills, and the ability to make complex decisions with a high degree of accuracy.
As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate closely with teams across the institution—including Donor Relations, Stewardship, Gift Officers, and the Controller’s Office—to support and enhance the donor experience. The ideal candidate is a proactive and reliable professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Record and process charitable contributions with accuracy and compliance.
Interpret and apply CASE and IRS regulations to complex gift scenarios.
Serve as a resource and partner to internal stakeholders regarding gift-related policies and procedures.
Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements and best practices.

QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Preferred fields of study: Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in gift processing, data management, or a related function—ideally within a higher education or nonprofit environment.
Background in accounting or finance is highly desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
In-depth understanding of IRS regulations governing charitable contributions and familiarity with CASE reporting standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound decision-making skills.
Proven track record of handling confidential donor information with the highest level of discretion and integrity.
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence in a team-focused environment.
