The Operations Associate will be key in the building, reforming, and implementation of Darkroom’s core processes. This will include cross-departmental collaboration, steadfast innovation, and the ability to problem solve at both micro- and macro-levels.
This role supports teams working in US Eastern Standard/Daylight Time and should be flexible to support and work in these times.
What you’ll do:
As an Operations Associate, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Menu Management:
Build and maintain restaurant menus on various online platforms, including Toast, UberEats, DoorDash, and Grubhub.
Ensure all menu items are accurately described, priced, and categorized for optimal customer browsing and ordering.
Regularly update menus to reflect changes in pricing, item availability, and seasonal offerings, keeping them current and enticing.
Collaboration with Culinary and Marketing Teams:
Collaborate closely with your Growth Manager counterpart & clients to ensure menu descriptions are compelling, accurate, and aligned with the clients brand objectives.
Work alongside the marketing team to promote menu changes, special promotions, and seasonal offerings effectively.
Customer Support:
Respond to customer feedback and inquiries on behalf of our restaurant clients promptly and professionally.
Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and provide outstanding customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Data Analysis:
Analyze menu performance data, customer reviews, and feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Provide insights and recommendations to optimize menu offerings and enhance the customer experience.
You should apply if this sounds like you:
Previous experience in restaurant operations, menu management, or customer support is preferred but not mandatory.
Comfortability managing multiple tasks at once;, e.g. meetings, delivery of assets, team assignments, etc.
You have experience with data processing & tracking
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A passion for the restaurant industry and a customer-centric mindset.
Experience with project management methodology, and task prioritization
Experience with SQL, build visualization, and Data Studio
