Your Team's Impact

In this team you will be empowering the world's leading investment professionals with cutting-edge portfolio management solutions. You will be the essential link between investment professionals and FactSet’s software. Combining a thorough understanding of finance and technology with specific expertise in FactSet software, consultants help clients streamline the research and analysis process. As part of this fantastic team, you will offer an unparalleled level of service along with insight into the intricacies and functionality of FactSet applications.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the asset management industry, current market trends and economic factors for maintaining a competitive edge over the execution and delivery of creative solutions & strategies.
• Working on Implementation projects by executing tasks within defined objectives and deadlines. This means delivering results according to the project's scope and completing it within the specified timeframe.
• Working on Managed Services deals by providing ongoing support to clients related their daily workflows and business needs according to the specified SLA. This involves offering continuous assistance, maintenance, and advisory services to ensure that clients' operations run smoothly and efficiently. The goal is to address their immediate needs and help optimize their business processes over time.
• Working closely with business/technical analysts from Client’s Performance and Reporting teams in helping them with their ongoing production business requests, questions, and queries.
• Solving problems that are not immediately evident in existing systems or processes
• Obtaining an excellent grasp of the product functionalities and methodologies as well as industry-specific principles and best practices.
• Close collaboration with middle and front office teams of our clients
• Analyze and solve complex business issues related to clients’ investment portfolios, financial data, analytics, and workflows.
• Closely collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Consulting, Sales, Engineering) to ensure development reflects industry /client direction
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the finance industry, current market trends and economic factors in order to maintain a competitive edge and form sales strategies
• Provide guidance and training to more junior team members
• Business travel may up to 30% of the working time.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills:

• University degree in Finance, Economics, or related industry discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of financial products and instruments.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial formulas.
• Basic programming skills using SQL

Desired Skills:

• Financial background in the asset management industry.
• Experience with performance measurement & attribution, or risk management.
• Financial instruments pricing knowledge, including standard equity and fixed income assets as well as derivative products such as options, futures, swaps (e.g. CDS, IRS, TRS), structured products, etc.
• Python and data science skills would be considered as plus.
• Participation in the CFA Program or FRM Program.
