How you'll make an impact:
• Deliver high-impact insights and advanced analytics to inform strategy, market development, segmentation, patient pathways, and regional performance
• Translate complex datasets into clear, concise insights and business recommendations through compelling storytelling and visualization
• Lead the development of a modern, scalable data strategy for the business, aligned with data initiatives and designed to support analytics maturity and business agility
• Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., BUs, Functions and Regions) to understand business challenges, problems and opportunities with significant financial impact to the company. Provide recommendations, design, develop and lead the implementation of solutions, both technical (e.g., Metrics Dashboards, Meta-data additions to enhance reporting and analytics) and non-technical (e.g., ECR process changes, simplified workflow changes)
• Perform complex data analysis, develop data driven insights and root-causes for inefficiencies and ineffectiveness of processes, and identify opportunities to improve training, processes, systems and product data quality. Develop innovative solution alternatives to resolve issues, influence and create buy-in with key stakeholders while exercising wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments including driving the adoption of self-service model.
• Influence the business design, implement operational metrics dashboards for BUs, Functions and Regions. Continually improve user experience for Business Intelligence reports and dashboards
• Identify new and innovative tools to improve overall analytics capabilities
• Lead the design, development, deployment and on-going improvement of the data warehouse, portals and dashboards by partnering with stakeholders. Manage the complete data pipeline, from the data mart all the way through to end-user BI tools (e.g., data intake, validation, mining, modeling, visualization and reporting)
• Provide technical expertise and lead high-level strategic problem solving sessions with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Drive successful development to cross functional teams through training and mentorship
• Other incidental duties
What you'll need:
Bachelor's Degree in in related field with12 years of experience.
Master's Degree with10 years of experience
Experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry Preferred
What else we look for:
• Experience in architecting, developing and deploying business intelligence, analytics and reporting solutions to internal and external stakeholders
• Experience interfacing and influencing stakeholders in complex organizations impacting across the company including the ability to gain resolutions and build consensus with key stakeholders in challenging situations
• Proven successful project management skills
• Strong expertise in modern data tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, Snowflake, Salesforce, CRM/claims/EHR data).
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including Advanced Excel, and relational databases systems required
• Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
• Recognized as an expert in own sub-function(s) and/or area(s) within the organization with broad-based advanced knowledge within the organization
• Expert understanding of department and upstream/downstream operations
• Expert understanding of quantitative methodologies, techniques and tools to develop best in class analytic solutions
• Expert understanding of industry trends as it relates to business processes, data optimization and data analytics
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $156,000 to $221,000 (highly experienced).
