Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Data Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and usability of customer-related data across the organization. You will be responsible for maintaining and managing data relationships, proactively reviewing data quality, monitoring data refreshes, generating test data, and managing the lifecycle of customer data by identifying and deactivating obsolete elements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain relationships between customer data elements across systems, ensuring accurate and meaningful connections
- Conduct regular reviews of customer data to identify and resolve data exceptions and discrepancies
- Monitor scheduled and ad-hoc data refresh activities across systems
- Develop and maintain exceptions reporting processes to proactively detect and correct data quality issues
- Generate and maintain high-quality test datasets to support user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Identify obsolete, reduendant, or inactive data elements and execute systematic deactivation or removal
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and data dependencies
- Work with business stakeholders and IT to implement data governance best practices for data retention, archiving, and disposal
- Maintain audit trails for all data modification and removal activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degress in Information Systems, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data management, database administration, or similar role
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality principles, and data lifecycle management
- General understanding of CRM workflows, data structure, and business processes across Sales, Marketing, Lab, Reimbursement, and Customer Support teams
- Familiar working in a regulated environment: CLIA/CAP, FDA, ISO, HIPAA
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar with start-up working environment, self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
Additional Information
Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant, our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.
For positions based in Palo Alto, CA or Redwood City, CA, the base salary range for this full-time position is $111,100 to $152,700. The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected to move forward, the recruiting team will provide details specific to the factors above.
Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
