Job Overview:

The IQVIA Data Management & Production team supports the acquisition of new data assets and leads quality assessments for established data sources.   As part of the Data Management & Production Support team, this individual will lead and support data quality initiatives for strategic healthcare data assets. This role is responsible for data analysis to ensure data quality and completeness. This individual must have strong leadership, communication, analytical, and technical skills with the ability to multitask across projects and roles.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead or participate in the design, development, or delivery of data analytics projects.

  • Analyze complex business questions and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide feedback to decision-makers.

  • Monitor data quality and completeness of inbound data and work internally and with data partners to resolve issues.

  • Foster relationship with and support patient data stakeholders within Commercial, Software Development, Supplier Management, Data Management, Privacy and Legal teams.

  • Lead / support meetings with external data partners and clients as needed to discuss data content and caveats.

  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to support the development of recommendations.

  • Construct impact assessments based on data and market knowledge.

  • Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and available data elements.

  • Proactively identify opportunities and apply best practices to add value data and offerings.

  • Provide consultation to data users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.

  • Produce datasets and reports for analysis using IQVIA reporting tools and SQL

  • Manipulate and transform data to optimize analyses.

  • Work with standalone data systems or enterprise-wide tools supporting activities such as inquiry resolution, data validation, and trend analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of business and data analysis required

  • Minimum 3 years of SQL experience

  • Advanced data analysis skills

  • Strong database knowledge

  • Proficiency with Microsoft software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Ability to work independently and with others across the organization to accomplish team goals.

  • Experience with healthcare data and related industry standards (837, 835, HL7, NCPDP) a plus

  • Understanding of the industry and marketplace.

  • Effective time management and project management skills, including knowledge of appropriate project management tools to enhance project effectiveness.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $74,100.00 - $185,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
