The Position

Enterprise Master Data Management (EMDM) is a Roche cross-functional and cross-divisional network of master data specialists and subject-matter experts developing governance frameworks and maintenance processes to ensure high-quality and trusted master data as the backbone for seamless business operations, data analytics and digitalization.

(Disclosure note: This is a Fixed-term opportunity until the 31st of December, 2026)

The Opportunity

As the Business Partner Master Data - Data Manager for SAP HANA Deployment Project, you will play a critical role in coordinating and overseeing the deployment activities of Master Data processes. You will oversee deployment activities, working closely with Local procurement, Commercial, Master data and IT teams.
 

  • Deploy Business Partner (Supplier, Customer, Employee) Master Data: Lead and coordinate the deployment of BP master data processes and systems. Ensure effective roll-out, training, and adoption across manufacturing sites and affiliates.  

  • Master Data Governance & Standards: Implement Master Data Governance in collaboration with GBPM and map current data to target standards.

  • Solution Definition & Data Management: Define optimal solutions with Roche ERP IT and manage data loads and reconciliations.

  • Testing Execution: Execute comprehensive testing, including UT, SAT, UAT, and REG.

  • Training: Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users. Ensure user proficiency and adherence to master data procedures.

  • Documentation:  Prepare documents on deployment status, and project progress. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data management processes and standards for the various deployments.

  • Governance, Change Control & Independent Leadership: Maintain template governance, manage specification changes, and autonomously drive key tasks within the Finance Master Data stream.

Who you are

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, really passionate about his or her job and understands that providing a high-quality service is crucial for the organization. As an ideal team member you are open-minded, dedicated to make a difference and open to constant development.

  • Educational Background & Experience: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration or related field with 5+ years in Master Data focused SAP project roles.

  • Master Data & Technical Proficiency: Proficient in BP (either Vendor or Customer) master data concepts, data modelling, CrUD processes/workflows, authorization, migration related topics. Hands-on experience in SAP (MDG-S, MDG-BP).

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, coupled with experience in process improvement and E2E business process analysis.

  • Project & Stakeholder Management: Strong project, stakeholder, and change management skills, including the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.

  • Interpersonal & Leadership Skills: Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, demonstrating leadership capabilities, strong consultative skills, and effective communication (including presentation skills) in diverse, multicultural teams.

Salary starts from 2300 EUR gross/monthly. Final salary depends on the successful candidate's level of experience, skills and qualifications.
