You will collaborate with key stakeholders on the Go-To-Market team, Engineering, Product, Finance and other areas to build scalable solutions to transform customer lifecycle data into key metrics reporting and insights. This role will involve full stack data development work from ingestion to self-service metrics enablement and analysis, with a focus on building and optimizing foundational data models.

This position will report to our Director, GTM Analytics, and can work remotely from any US location or in one of Procore’s US-based office locations. The role is critical to Procore’s growth strategy and will be highly visible. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately!

What you'll do:

  • Architect, build and manage foundational data models and key data pipelines in dbt that transform raw logs into Source of Truth datasets

  • Partner with Data Engineers to establish high data integrity standards through testing frameworks and SLAs to ensure timely, accurate delivery of data

  • Become an expert in our organization’s data models and the company's data architecture

  • Understand the data needs of stakeholder teams in terms of key data models and reporting, and translate that into technical requirements

  • Independently lead initiatives in facilitating information gathering, structured documentation, and presentation of findings to all levels of management

What we're looking for:

  • 2-5 years of work experience in analytics or data engineering roles

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical field (e.g., Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or specialized training/certification); or equivalent work experience

  • Expertise in SQL with a solid understanding of database design and modeling best practices

  • Strong perspective on analytics development cycle (data modeling, version control, documentation + testing, best practices for codebase development)

  • Inquisitive mindset and the ability to thrive in ambiguity, taking initiative to create clarity and make connections about customer data.

  • Solid communication skills with the ability to present strong data-driven storylines and content to both general and senior audiences

  • Nice to haves: experience with Python and workflow management tools (e.g. Airflow); experience with Tableau or similar visualization tools
